With the restaging of the exhibition of historic photographs and film from the archives of Princeton University,  the Mount Athos Center is organising a series of guided afternoon tours aimed mainly at adults and designed to present the unique and fascinating story of the three traveller-artists who travelled from Princeton to Mount Athos and the Meteora in 1929.  
 
The guided tours, which will be led by Mr. Anastasios Douros, the curator of the exhibition and director of the Mount Athos Center, will take place at the following times:
 
Thursday 29 February: (1st) 17:00 – 18:30 & (2nd) 18:30 – 20:00
Thursday 14 March:     (3rd) 17:00 – 18:30 & (4th) 18:30 – 20:00
Thursday 28 March:     (5th) 17:00 – 18:30 & (6th) 18:30 – 20:00
Thursday 11 April:       (7th) 17:00 – 18:30 & (8th) 18:30 – 20:00


Each of the above 8 guided tours will be for a group of 15 people and so all those interested in going on a tour are requested to reserve a place either by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. Guided tours for school students will continue to be provided every morning, subject to prior arrangement with the Mount Athos Center (please contact +30 2310 263 308).
