British architect –painter, multitalented Renaissance-artist, Doug Patterson, has created a series of paintings illustrating Sacred Places of the three monotheistic religions, following in the footsteps of notable travelers- pilgrims such as Vasili Grigorovits Barski in the Orthodox East, Sammuel Davis and Hercules Brabazon Brabazon, who visited Mount Athos, Bhutan and India, respectively.
For this exhibition, whose collection includes all his works inspired by Mount Athos and St. Catherine’s Monastery in Sinai, a collectible catalogue has been printed presenting all works selected.
