All ents in November, the scheduled annual international conference and its parallel events, such as the exhibition, the catalogue and the publishing of the facsimile of a rare book pertaining to the Holy Mountain, a musical event and the publication of the papers presented at the conference, as a variety of diverse activities which are yet related due to the common theme and shared course of action, joined by the decision of the Prefecture in the Operational Program under the general title "The great spiritual and cultural heritage of the Holy Mountain" and will extend until the year 2015.

 

    

The Scientific Committee for the Conference, established under the chairmanship of Mr. Kriton Chrisochoides, Director of the Byzantine Research Institute of the National Research Foundation, is consisted of:

The conference is organized in cooperation with

the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and

the National Research Foundation - Institute of Byzantine Research.

 

The annual International Conference of the Mount Athos Center and its parallel events are included in the Operational Program “Macedonia-Thrace"- Facilitating the improvement of the Cultural Services for the next 5 years.
