capture the everyday life of the Monastic Community with
their cameras and share their impressions on the (world wide) web.

Dozen friends of Mount Athos, from all over the world, visit the Athonite peninsula, capturing impressions, conversing with the monks, sensing the tangible and unique world of the Monastic Community.  

Many of them maintain personal bloggs, web galleries and pages in which they post pictures and essays which imprint their impressions, experiences and queries.

In the exhibition “Athos of Bloggers”, pictures and selected notes-commentaries are presented from the work and the impressions of the visitors-bloggers from all over the world, reflecting on the diversity and wealth of impressions of the visitors.

Renown artists photographers, amateur artists, from countries such as Greece, Germany, Holland, Austria, U.K. Egypt, USA, etc, have accepted our invitation to present their pictures in this exhibition that will be inaugurated this coming June in the exhibition hall of the Mount Athos Center.
